Attacks began on 24. March 1999. and the last attack took place on 10. June, at 13:15h. Total damage is estimated at tens of billions of dollars. But NATO war casualties have never been disclosed. Wesley Clark wrote in his book “Waging Modern War” that planning of air operations of NATO against Yugoslavia already was in underway in June 1998. and it was completed in August same year. Yugoslavia was invaded on the pretext that it is blame for the failure of the talks in Rambouillet and Paris about the future status of Kosovo.

According to official figures 2,500 people were killed, 1,500 civilians, including 88 children. 12,500 inhabitants were wounded. Of that 6,000 civilians, including 2700 children and 5173 soldiers and policemen. A dozen people are still missing.

After more harsh diplomatic actions, the Military-Technical Agreement is signed in Kumanovo 9th June 1999. but the last missiles fell on Serbia 10th June, at 13:15h near Kosovska Kamenica, which means that the bombing lasted 79 days.
